Naked bulb

Very popular right now, easy to do it on your own, I like to call them "naked" lighting. So simple and clean, but has that uplifting twist with the color of the cable that you can choose.

Berlin Bulb, what difference does a color make!

BoConcept, I'm not sure, but were they the first to start with this kind of lighting?

You see how great can you incorporate it to a room - Pink elephant, yoga studio, photo: Martina Kenji

Quick intervention

...to a plain wall. Ideal for rental solutions, as mine now. When you have totally furnished apartment  and don't want to invest much in it but you have problem with personalizing it. What to do? I choose to draw some pictures, that'll combine with framed photos of my loved once. You can also add a few nice photos of nature or things you like. But don't be afraid to draw something on your own. It's good practice for don't be so critical about yourself. :) If it's so hard for you, try with making a collage. Just let it go!

p.s. there's a great movie I would advice you to watch, (trailer is here). I'm mentioning it now 'cause who watched it will remember the scene when Driss draw that modern art picture. Who knows what's your potential, or will you have a good manager beside you ;)

What an excuse could I give you to justify my absence from blogging? Non, 'cause you have to find out time to do the things you really like.
Do you always find the time to do the things you like? Like sleeping? Like baking cakes? Here's the pick of things you might like just for being beautiful.

A lots of love and a few toys

I'm always thrilled when I stumble on a great work of someone. Today Gabriele Galimberti made my day! Project "Toy story" is collection of photos taken all over the world, showing children' favorite toys. The thing I like the most about this photos, is a difference between how do those children live. Photos are beautiful;  you can see cultural heritage, preference of the family, of the child andthe most important - that you do not need a fancy room to be happy. Just a lots of love and a few toys. (remember this, do not switch the order ;) )

More infos you can find here - highly recommend to also see his other works!

Mobility Award

When I was talking about our walking rooms in one of mine earlier blogs, I was thinking about importance of enjoying walking in your town's parks, streets, outdoor generally.

I didn't know that similar idea was main criterion when yesterday in Bruxelles, Croatia capital Zagreb, won main prize for mobility - Mobility Award, for project PARKiranje. It was also great to hear it, because realization of project led my colleague, whose assistant I was, when I started my work as a marketing manager.

So, last year, Zagreb was the best in promoting active lifestyle among it's citizens. But I believe there's a group of enthusiast in every town. Are you a part of your's? Climbing, walking... everything will do.

Love,
Iva

DIY#2

Isn't this a great idea?
If you don't like lace or crochet use some kind of net, string or wire for more industrial or edgy look.
I prefer this one.
