Little apartment on island Rab

This is a nice seaside apartment that combines antiques with a clean Scandinavian style. It suitable for everyday living, but owner use it only for summer vacations. It's charming with antique details but clean enough to not to bother you with unnecessary furniture.

Lady like

One very elegant and pleasant lady share this apartment with her loved one. It's hard to find good old-school class, ability to make a simple thing so beautiful and in the same time track new trends and incorporate them in everyday life. And this amazing woman, Jasminka, has the ability to do it. Calm, gentle, elegant, full of empathy, but stylish she does so much things so cool and smooth. I really enjoy looking over photos she gave me this morning. And here are some of them from her home in Zagreb. Keep up with my blog because I'm preparing you a photo story from her seaside apartment as well as story about Christmas decorations that she does beautifully!

Happy rooftop - a great garden place

 If you're lack of  place for gardening and you have flat rooftop, try use it as a green area. You're not sure how would it works? You can start with plants in pots or try to plant your vegetables in boxes. For covering  a whole rooftop with grass you should check your isolation and conciser advising with an architect and  landscape engineer.

I can't help myself not to feel sad after reading and seeing all those horrible things happened/happening in Syria, all those brutal violence in India, and after all in Croatia as well as in any other country.

You can constantly read about it, but what can we do to help/prevent those things happening?!

Keep the summer mood

What to do if you want to keep a summer feeling for some more? Chose the most simple way to decor your home; try with cushions in summer motives and use Lawanda, fresh lemons and oranges and for the evening light some Arabic nice lantern.

Shopping in this store seems to look very pleasant. Ideal fore those who don't like malls. There's always some nice things you can find for you closet or home decor in those kind of shops. I wish you could send me photos of some concept stores you like and the best items you found there. Feel free to do that!

Freestanding tubs

I was always a fan of freestanding tubs. They give that instant sense of luxury; its easier to feel like you're Cleopatra in those tubs. They look so nice and feminine, but that is not the reason why men should avoid them, au contraire, scrubbing a back of their lady will make them even more masculine. ;) Here's some nice photos of bathroom with main star - a freestanding tub. (p.s. Just be careful is you messy while taking a bath)

A boy from Brazil who show us that small things can make a difference!
Although he did this 2002., I heard for him today. And he has done a really magnificent work
Plastic bottle of water with a teaspoon or two of bleach (varikina) installed in a roof gives light approximately about 40-60 watts.
He changed life for a lots of people who can't afford a regular electricity. I just hope there'll be a much more good jobs like this one. Watch this and try to do something similar that could help your community.
